Situated in central Italy, Abruzzo lies on the Adriatic Sea, bordered by Lazio to the west, Le Marche to the north, and Puglia to the south. With its rugged inland terrain, courtesy of the Apennine Mountains, the region’s landscape is a treasure trove for culinary enthusiasts.

WINE RECOMMENDATION
Caleo Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Italy 2020
This Montepulciano is deep, ruby-red colour with violet highlights and a pleasant and fruity bouquet. Dry, and round on the palate with hints of red fruit. The finish is medium bodied with soft tannins and good acidity. Ideal with pasta courses and red meat.
